Leonard Clawson

Leonard J. Clawson, age 74, of Erie, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Allegheny Health Network after a strong fight from an extended illness. He was born on August 21, 1946, in Punxsutawney, PA, a son to the late Leonard and Jean Barner Clawson.

Leonard was an active member of the American Legion Post 571, where he served as Adjutant Emeritus, served as Commander at Post 773, Finance officer Emeritus for the 29^th District, and was a veteran of the United States Army. 

He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Clawson; and his parents.

Leonard will be sadly missed by his wife of 56 years, Claudia; his children, Michelle Kutterna, Vicky Saraceno (John), Dawn Colelli, and Christine Cummings (Greg); and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends are invited to call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc Downtown, 602 W 10^th St, on Friday from noon until time of service at 2:00 PM with Chaplain Karen Foust officiating. Burial will be private.
