Layla Tenon

Layla Rene Tenon age 16, of Erie, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017.

She was born in Erie on November 1, 2001 a daughter of Edward and Gillian Tenon and her biological mother Angela Rae Ziegler.

Layla was a sophomore at Collegiate Academy.

She was an amazing artist who also enjoyed reading, writing, and photography and had a huge love of animals. Layla had a great sense of humor and always enjoyed making people laugh. She was hard working and had dreams of becoming a neurosurgeon.

She was employed at Tim Hortons.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by four siblings, Nici, Brandon, Alicia, and Ben; and grandparents, Carol Tenon and Rich and Karen Stoops. She is further survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, her best friend Brianna and her beloved dog Seton.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 602 W. 10^th Street, Erie, PA 16502 on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
