Lawrence Armagost

Lawrence J. Armagost, age 64 of Lake City, passed away unexpectedly on Monday May 1, 2017 at his residence.

 He was born in Warren, PA on February 27, 1953, the son of the late Donald and Twila Mae Anna Tipton Armagost.

 After serving in the U.S Marines during the Vietnam War, he was a metal worker for various manufacturing plants.  He enjoyed archery, watching TV and playing video games.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anita L. “Lou” Hill Armagost in March 2017 and step son, Charles “Al” Ryen.

Larry is survived by a daughter, Joleen McBride; four step sons, Ronald Ryen (Carol), Gilbert Ryen, Robert Ryen (Robin) and Rudy Lee Ryen; and a sister, Cheryl Miller. He is further survived by 14 grandchildren, as well as several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

 Private funeral arrangements were entrusted to Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East, Girard.
