Laurie Siira

May 17, 1949 — November 26, 2018

Laurie J. (Pivovar) Siira, 69, of Millcreek passed away peacefully on Monday November 26, 2018 in Pittsburgh.  

 

She was born May 17, 1949 in Pittsburgh and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Betty Pivovar.

 

Laurie was a valued employee of Northwest Alliance in Erie, Pennsylvania for over seventeen years. She loved being an office manager and enjoyed working with her fellow employees and clients. 

 

Her favorite thing to do was to go to the peninsula and watch the beautiful sunsets.

Laurie is survived by her beloved husband Jeffrey Siira and devoted daughter Heather (Andy) Hough.  The loving Step-mother of Michelle King, Emily Siira and the late Sean Siira (Nicole).  Sister of Margaret Gehrlein and grandmother to Zachary Cannata, Jamison, Emerson, Addison Hough, Kiersten Torma, Jeffrey Clapper and Quinn Siira. 

 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Scleroderma Foundation at Scleroderma Foundation, Western Pennsylvania Chapter, 7 South BioMedical Science Tower, 3500 Terrace Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15261 or the Pulmonary Hypertension Association, 801 Roeder Road, Ste. 1000, Sliver Springs MD 20910.

 

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th St. (at Powell Ave)  Erie, on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.
