Laurie Sherrell

Laurie Sherrell, age 50 of Union City, Pa., died Monday, December 17, 2012 at Corry Hospital.

She was born February 16, 1962 in Erie, a daughter of the late Clarence E. and Cora McAninch Jefferson.

Laurie attended Technical Memorial High School and was a nurses' aide at St. Mary's Home Erie.

She enjoyed country music, fishing, and especially her family.

Survivors include a son Maximino Jefferson, wife Yolonda of Lake City; a daughter Tiffany Jefferson of Erie; nine grandchildren, and good friend Maryanne Applebee; eight brothers and sisters, and Max and Tiffany's father, Maximino Edgar Gonzalas.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family.

Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 602 West 10th Street is handling arrangements.
