Laura Terry

Laura Terry, age 38, of Erie, passed away Monday, January 8, 2024 at UPMC Hamot Hospital. She was born in Erie, on March 6, 1985 to Kenneth and Betty Kohl.

Laura graduated from Gannon University and went on to earn a master’s degree from Edinboro University. She had a huge heart and would go out of her way to make people happy. Laura enjoyed time with family, especially coaching her son in basketball, and decorating the house for Christmas; she enjoyed fishing, volleyball, and horseback riding.

She is survived by her husband, Jason Terry, and her son Michael Terry. Laura is further survived by her mother, Betty Kohl, her brother Andrew Kohl, her mother-in-law Patricia Terry, and her brother-in-law Shannon Terry.

She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Kohl, her brother-in-law Deron Terry, and an aunt Elizabeth Rogers (Richard).

Friends are invited to call on the family Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Service Inc. Downtown, 602 W. 10^th Street, Erie.
