Laura M. Corsi age 91 of Erie, passed away on Monday, October 06, 2014 at Millcreek Community Hospital.
She was born in Erie on May 16, 1923, a daughter of the late Anthony and Della Palito Adiutori.
She graduated from Academy High School.
Laura was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed helping her daughter Carol at her hair salon.
Laura’s passion was taking care of her family and friends. She loved cooking for everyone, even strangers. Her family often remarked that she fed more people in her lifetime than the soup kitchen. She was known for her great pasta beans and fed everyone that came into the beauty shop. She loved being out with her daughters and nieces, going anywhere they could take her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Corsi; two sons, Frank and James Corsi; two son-in-laws, Anthony Liberatore and Mike Ruscitto; and two granddaughters, Tina Ruscitto and Maria Luna Corsi.
She is survived by three daughters, Cynthia Ruscitto, Carol Liberatore, and Della Ratajczak and her husband Mike; daughter -in- law, Victoria Corsi; two sisters, Jean Donofrio and Eleanor Machado; nine grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W. 26th Street (at Powell Ave) on Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m. and are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church 1626 W. 26th Street, Erie, PA 16508. Burial will be private at Calvary Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
