Larry Stufft

Larry R. Stufft age 69, of Erie, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016.

He was born in Akron, Ohio on December 8, 1946, a son of the late Henry and Betty June Stufft Kunik.

Larry served with the 4th Truck Co. United States Marine Corps Reserves in the 1960’s.

He worked at Faulkner Metal Fabricators, Inc. for over 20 years. During this time he created many religious works that can be seen throughout several Erie Churches including the cross that is placed on the exterior of St. Jude Parish, where he and his family have been members for 38 years. He then went on to work at Industrial Sales and Manufacturing until his retirement in 2006.

Larry was an avid pool player all of his life and was a member of the Valley National 8-Ball league for many years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first born son, Timothy B. Stufft in 2015; and a brother, James Stufft.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Betty A. Stufft; his children, Mark Stufft of Florida, Michelle Hallinan and her husband Todd of CT.; and Lori Sentker of Cincinnati, OH; four grandchildren, Olivia and Ella Sentker and Lily and Joshua Hallinan. He is also survived by two brothers, Henry Stufft of FL and Ronald Stufft and his wife Debbie of Erie; two sisters, Carol Milks of North Carolina and Judy Sutton and her husband Ronald of Erie; sister in law, Lynn Stufft of CA; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W. 26th Street (at Powell Ave) on Wednesday, October 5th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday October 6th at 1:00 p.m. at St. Jude the Apostle church, 2801 W. 6th Street, Erie, PA 16505. Burial to follow in Erie Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude the Apostle Church.
