Larry Loper

Larry Loper, age 60, of Erie died Monday, February 16, 2015. Born in Waynesboro, MS he was a son of the late Lester Arrington and Bernice Loper.

Larry graduated from High School in Waynesboro, MS. He was a veteran of the United States Army and also was a member of Booker T. Washington Masonic Lodge, a Prince Hall Affiliate.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Lester Arrington, Jr., Albina Arrington Larken, Ruby Lynn Arrington, Addie Arrington, John Arrington, Latanya Salter and great grandson I’Dreese Phillips.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years and his best friend, Clinteria Moore; children, Larry Loper, Jr and his wife Linda, of Englewood, CA, Eric Salter, of Hattiesburg, MS, Shantae McCoy, Crystal McCoy and William McCoy, all of Erie. He is further survived by 25 grandchildren, two great grandchildren a brother, Richard Arrington and a sister Mary L. Brown.

Services were private and at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be private.
