Larry W. Longstreth, age 75, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at UPMC Hamot surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Meadville on February 10, 1948, a son of the late William and Margaret Rundall Longstreth.
Larry worked as a mechanic for Erie Yellow Cab and retired after 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, and spending time with friends and family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Russell and Michael Longstreth. Larry is survived by his wife of 51 years, Millicent “Penny”; children, Laura (Jim) Bindics, Tina (Steven) Sobucki, and Theresa (Mike) Wishnok; grandchildren, James and Zachary Bindics, Aaron and Timothy (Kayla Towns) Sobucki, Charlotte and Mike Wishnok; great grandsons, Bradley and Carson; sister, Carol (Fritz) Garboloff; mother-in-law, Vera Parker and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family.
Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 W 10th St., on Monday, February 5, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Graveside service will take place at Erie County Memorial Gardens, 7880 Edinboro Rd., on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at 11am. Please meet at the cemetery.
