Larry Drew

Larry D. Drew age 68, of Millcreek, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at UPMC Hamot.

He was born in Cattaraugus, NY, son of the late Henry (Hank) and Marjory Drew.

Larry graduated from Cattaraugus High School.

He worked as a Rehab Specialist at the Gowanda Psychiatric Center and Buffalo Psychiatric Center for over 30 years.

Larry was a member of the Walnut Creek Gun Club. He enjoyed golfing and boating and camping at Chautauqua Lake where he earned the nickname “Captain Larry”. Larry also loved spending time with his family and his dogs.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Margaret Cook Drew; a son, Benjamin G. Drew of Lawrence, KS; and a sister, Patricia Drew of NY. He is further survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W. 26th Street, Erie, PA 16506 on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Dan Owen Officiating.
