Kurt Schenker

Kurt A. Schenker age 19, of Erie, and currently of Yuma, AZ passed away on Friday, April 4, 2014 following a tragic accident.

He was born in Erie on September 10, 1994 a son of John Schenker and Corie Davis of Erie.

Kurt graduated from McDowell High School and went on to join the United States Marine Corp and was currently stationed in Yuma, AZ.

Kurt was a loving son and brother and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Bonnie Schenker and Merle Davis.

Kurt is survived by his parents, Corie Davis and John Schenker (Shara Hewitt and her son Troy Bickel); three sisters, Carlie Schenker, Clara Schenker and Morgan Heasley; grandparents, Fred and Shirley Adams; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W. 26th Street (at Powell Ave) on Tuesday, April 15th from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, April 16th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a service on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Lawrence Park Methodist Church 4015 Niagara Pl, Erie, Pa 16511 with Rev. Rich Pearson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bethany Outreach Center, 254 E. 10th Street, Erie, PA 16503.
