Kory Perry

Kory J. Perry, age 24, of Fairview, died Thursday, January 3, 2013, of natural causes at UPMC Hamot. Born October 12, 1988, in Erie, he was a son of Ty C. and Kimberly D. Moore Perry. Kory was a 2008 graduate of Fairview High School where he played football and basketball. He was employed at John V. Schulz Furniture Company in its warehouse. Kory was an avid fisherman, loved adventures and sports. But what he enjoyed most was being a amazing uncle to his two nieces. He was a member of Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church.

In addition to his parents, Ty and Kim of Fairview, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Paul and April Moore of Girard, his paternal grandparents, Phil Perry and his wife Diana of Albion and Karen Fosburg of Lake City, two sisters: Katie Duchnowski and her husband John and Emmie Perry, all of Fairview; a brother, Ty Perry and his wife Sarah, also of Fairview; two nieces: Rylee Perry and Sophia Perry; his great grandmother, Avis Leopold of Girard; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him very much.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East in Girard, on Monday, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be private.
