Kelly Jo Valencia

Kelly Jo Holtzinger Valencia, age 53, of Erie, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.  She was born in Lock Haven, PA on April 21, 1965, a daughter of the late Edward E. and Donna R. Walizer Holtzinger.

Kelly attended East High School and went on the work as a supervisor at Presque Isle Downs and Casino, where she loved to watch horse racing. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Edward Holtzinger. 

Kelly is survived by her sons, Matthew (Meghan) Peoples, of Erie and Mark (Magen) Peoples of Lawrence Park; eight grandchildren, Xavier, Cadin, Owen, Makenna, Savion, Bryce, Jocelyn and Brennan.  She is further survived by her sisters, Anna Carr, of Erie and Kathy Matthiesen, of Iowa along with many nieces and nephews.
