Keith Nicholson

Keith R. Nicholson, age 88, of Fairview, passed away Wednesday October 31, 2018 at Fairview Manor.

He was born in Warren, PA on August 2, 1930, a son of the late Alice Blondquist Nicholson.

Keith graduated from Warren High School. After serving with the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, he graduated from College in Buffalo, NY.

He was Vice President of Sales and Management at E.D.Farrell Company.

He became a member of the First Presbyterian Church of East Aurora, NY in 1965 and was a member of Fairview Presbyterian Church when he and his family relocated to Erie.  Keith was a member of the Valley of Erie Scottish Rite and participated in the Shrine Band.

Keith earned his pilot license at an early age.  He was an avid piano player and enjoyed traveling with his wife.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Marianne Heimann Nicholson in 2007; and his siblings: John, Bud and Joan.

Keith is survived by his son, Michael Nicholson and his wife Laurie of Girard; three granddaughters, Emily, Elizabeth and Faith; and step grandchildren, Emily, Mitch, Travis and Hope.  He is further survived by five great grandchildren, Hunter, Isabella, Greyson, Gwenyth and Abrielle.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East on Friday from 4-7 pm and are invited to a service there on Saturday at 10 am. with Reverend Chuck Cammarata officiating.

Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery with full military honors.
