Kayla Ferrare

     Kayla Ann Ferrare, 28, of Erie, died on Saturday, February 18, 2017, at UPMC Hamot.  She was born on June 23, 1988, in Erie, daughter of Yvette M. Clement Lombardi of Erie and the late Christopher Ferrare.  A 2006 graduate of Mercyhurst Prep, she was a waitress at Steak 'n Shake and various other restaurants in the Erie area.  She also did telemarketing for DialAmerica, West Corp. and Blair Corp.  Kayla enjoyed singing and had been involved with the Erie Playhouse Youtheatre.  She attended St. George Church.

     In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by an aunt, Denise Clement; maternal grandparents, Norma Jean Strand Clement and Bernard Clement, Sr.; and paternal step-grandfather, Giusuppe Lombardi.

     Survivors include  a son, Carter Michael Ferrare at home; her mother and stepfather, Yvette M. Clement Lombardi and Micheal Lombardi of Erie; two brothers, Joseph M. Lombardi and Lucas A. Lombardi, both of Erie; half-sister, Mia Ferrare of Erie; paternal grandfather, Frank Ferrare and wife Arlene of Erie; paternal grandmother, Judy Bodnar and husband Harold of North Carolina; paternal step-grandmother, Michelina Lombardi of Erie; Aunts, Debra Morrow and husband Gregory and Yvonne May and husband Mark, all of Erie, Darlene Chojnacki and husband Ray of Fairview, Denise Galvin of Erie and Kelly Bodnar of North Carolina; Uncles, Bernard "Barry" Clement, Jr. and wife Vanessa of Cantonment, FL, Mark Clement and wife Nora of Liverpool, NY, Benhard Clement and wife Cynthia, Angelo Lombardi and wife Margaret, Dominic Lombardi and Heather Magoon, Mark Ferrare and wife Chris, Pat Ferrare and wife Mary, Frank Ferrare and Phyllis Ott all of Erie, Andrew Ferrare, and Matthew Ferrare and wife Susan of North Carolina. 

     Friends may call at the Scott Funeral Home, 2014 Myrtle Street, Tuesday from 4 p.m. until the time of service there at 6 p.m.  Fr. Michael G. DeMartinis will officiate.
