Kay M. Johnson,”Nana” age 74 of Erie, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Elmwood Gardens.
She was born in Jamestown, New York on October 5, 1941, a daughter of the late Perry and Dorothy Dahlgren Dewey.
Kay graduated from Jamestown High School in 1959, relocated to Erie in 1993 and was a waitress and host at the Cracker Barrel and Bob Evans Restaurants.
She was most happy when she was with her family. She took great pride in her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and will be greatly missed by us all.
In addition to her parents and her sister Elaine Dewey, she was preceded in death by her husband Howard E. Johnson in 2001.
She is survived by her brother, Richard (Dick) Dewey of Eden, SC; daughter, Lynne A. Johnson (Tony); son, Perry E. Johnson (Jennifer); granddaughters: Alyssa, Abbriana, Samantha, Tiffany, and Kyleen; seven great grandchildren, and many extended family members.
