Kathryn Terry

Kathryn M. Terry, age 73, of Erie, PA passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Saint Vincent Hospital. She was born in Erie, April 15, 1949 to the late Delta A. Terry, Jr. and Katie Terry (Nickson). Kathryn was a graduate of Academy High School and Gannon University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree.  

She previously worked for GECAC, and the Martin Luther King Center. Kathryn worked for Habitat for Humanity for15 years. She was an avid reader who enjoyed crossword puzzles, cooking, and baking, and did volunteer work for many organizations. Kathryn enjoyed helping anyone whenever she could.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by an infant son, and her nephews, David and Deron Terry.

Kathryn is survived by her daughters, Aisha R. Moore, Alexis R. Pierce, and Ashley R. Pierce (Javier Cruz), 4 grandchildren, Jaiden M. Metcalfe, Jamieson (Chunk) P. Metcalfe, Janesa Cruz, and Jiovani Cruz.  She is further survived by her siblings, Jacquelyn Terry, Denise Terry, Pamela Terry, Patricia Terry, Priscilla Terry, and Delta A. Terry, III; and by several nieces, nephews, and friends. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family in care of Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc.

Friends are invited to call on the family Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Service Inc. Downtown, 602 W. 10^th Street, Erie.
