Kathryn Steinhauser

Kathryn Steinhauser age 73, of Fairview, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at her residence following a brief illness.

 She was born in Warren, PA on February 6, 1944, a daughter of the late Hugh V. and Vera Wolstencroft Wolcott.

She was a graduate of Erie Tech Memorial High School and was a seamstress most of her life. Kathryn was a very kind soul, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of the Girard Chapter of the Eastern Star # 84, where she was a past worthy matron. She was an avid golfer over the years.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles A. Steinhauser; three sons: Charles E. Steinhauser Douglasville, PA; Kurt C. Steinhauser and his wife Michelle of New York;  Robert H. Steinhauser and his wife Julie of Erie;  eight grandchildren: Danica, Eric, Silvia, Sara, Casey, Alex, Holly, and Isabella; a brother Hugh Wolcott and his wife Irene of Fairview; a sister Cynthia Aman and her husband Jack of Greenwood,Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.

No calling hours were observed. Services were held at the convenience of the family. Burial in Rocky Glenn Cemetery.
