Kathryn Schell

Kathryn Schell, age 67, of Erie and most recently Pleasant Ridge Manor West, passed away on Friday, December 6th, 2013 at UPMC Hamot. She was born on June 9, 1946 in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of the late Arlene Romaine Wolgamuth.

She grew up in York, PA and attended Dallastown High School. Came to Erie in 1973. She worked at Super Duper for many years and held several waitressing positions, including Ground Round, Damon’s and Longhorn Steak House. Kathryn was an avid bowler, softball player for the Erie County Farms team, and a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She also loved solving puzzles.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her foster mother Evelyn Flinchbaugh.

Kathryn is survived by her daughter Amy Webber and her husband Brian of Girard and two sons Michael Schell and Bradley Schell and his wife Jennifer, both of Erie. She is further survived by her foster father Donald Flinchbaugh of York, PA, and four grandchildren: Stephanie Rupp, Felix Manus-Schell, Korey Webber, and Tyler Nowakowski.
