Kathryn E. Moon

Kathryn E. Moon, age 87, of Erie and formerly Lewes, DE, passed away Sunday, December 3^rd, 2023. 

She was born in Philadelphia, PA on January 17, 1936, a daughter of the late Jacob and Kathryn Weber Millman. 

Kathryn graduated from Lewes High School and Goldey Beacom Business School.  She moved to Erie in 1956, and worked several years before retirement at Erie Copy Products.  Kathryn was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church, Westlake Fire Department Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary #773.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Clifford A. Moon in 2020; as well as a brother, John Millman.

Kathryn is survived by her children; Dean (Audrey) Moon, George Moon, James (Mary) Moon, all of Erie, and Carol (Mike) Moon of North East; her grandchildren, Meghan, Halle, Katen, James and Joseph and great grandchildren Rynette, Hadley and Anna Rae. She is further survived by her sister Suzanne Bland of Delaware. Sisters in law Wilma (Larry) Jayjohn, Kathryn Moon and brother in law Louis (Margie) Moon of Scottsdale AZ.

Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Funeral Home, West Ridge, 3801 West 26^th St., on Sunday, December 10 from 3 to 7 pm and are invited to attend a service there Monday, December 11 at 10 am.  Burial will follow in Erie County Memorial Gardens. 

Memorials may be made to West Lake Fire Department, Lakewood United Methodist Church, American Legion Post #773, or AHN Cancer Institute.
