Kathryn Laskowski

Kathryn Laskowski, age 92, of Erie, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Fairview Manor following a brief illness.

She was born August 15, 1923 in Campbell, OH, the daughter of the late Thomas Zamaria and Catherine Vlasich Zamaria of Yugoslavia. Kathryn attended the Conneautville Vocational School. She worked at the Erie Register and the Holiday Inn as well as her business, Kay’s Custom Sewing. She also enjoyed sewing, gardening, knitting and crafting.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sons, Theodore W. Laskowski and Michael A. Laskowski; brothers, Nick, Tom and Pete Zamaria; and sisters, Barbara Acri, Mary Sectz, Madeline Payha, and Josephine.

Survivors include a son, Richard W. (Michele) Laskowski of Erie, Mark E. (Cynthia) Laskowski of Charleston, SC; and sister Anne Thomas of Erie; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th Street at Powell Ave. on Monday from 4 p.m. until the time of service there at 7p.m.

Private Burial will be in Gate of Heaven.
