Kathryn Hirsch

Kathryn “Kitsy” Hirsch, age 84, of Edinboro, passed away Friday February 24, 2023 at UPMC Hamot.
She was born on March 5, 1938 in Oil City, PA, a daughter of the late Raymond and Violet Marchinke VanDyke.

Kathryn graduated from McDowell High School. She worked in the office at Steris Corporation for over 30 years. She was a member of the Lake City United Methodist Church. She loved her pets, and enjoyed boating and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Hirsch and sister in law, Shirley VanDyke.

Kathryn is survived by two brothers, William VanDyke of Millcreek and Richard (Helen) VanDyke of Harborcreek. Many nieces and nephews: Stacey; Denise; Jennifer (Pat)and children Tyler, Dustin, and Ashley; Rick (Holly)and daughter Avery; Keith (Erin) and daughters Ava and Mia; Meggan (Jon) and daughters Elizabeth and Breanna. Three stepsons; Phillip (Kim) Hirsch; Michael (Carol) Hirsch; Richard (Gina) Hirsch and their children, Richard Hartline, Matthew Hirsch and his son Mason, Angela Hirsch and her son Trevor, and sister in law, Sue (Keith) Hirsch.

Friends may call at Burton Funeral Home 525 Main Street E, Girard on Saturday March 4, 2023 from 11:00am until the time of service at 12:00pm. Burial at Fairview Cemetery.
