Kathleen Smith

Kathleen Ann Noe Smith, 55, 2948 West 24th Street, Erie, died Thursday, March 30, 2000 at St. Vincent Health Center.

She was born in Erie January 14, 1945, daughter of the late Louis J. and Marjorie Depinet Noe.

She graduated from McDowell High School in 1962, then worked for the Oakdale Corporation. She also worked as a customer service representative for Hart, McConahy & Martz, Inc. and served as manager of the Professional Building in Erie.

She was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church and its choirs. She was also a member of the Sweet Adelines and was a teacher for the Bethel Bible Series program. She was a member of Koinonia of Erie County, and went through the program K-72. She served on teams for K85-86, K92 and K108.

Survivors include her husband of 37 years, W. Wayne Smith; two daughters, Kymberly Kay Gack and her husband William, and Amy Smith all of Erie; a son, Scott Smith and his wite, Terry, of Erie; a sister, Donna Bernatowicz of Erie; three grandchildren, Candice and Erin Gack and Alex Kellog; five nieces. and three nephews. 

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 602 West 10th Street Sunday April 2, 2000 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. A service will be held on Monday April 3, 2000 at 11 am at Lakewood United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. James Patterson.

Burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
