Kathleen Perry

Kathleen G. Perry, age 76, of Fairview, passed away, Saturday January 24, 2015 at her residence.

She was born in Erie on June 14, 1938 a daughter of the late Frank F. and Lucile Schneidmiller Bleil.

She was a nurse’s aide at Pleasant Ridge Manor for over 25 years and also was a private duty nurse for

many years. She was a true lifelong caregiver and she poured her heart into the care of her patients. Kathy’s spare time was filled with her love for gardening. Family meant the world to her and it was evident in the love and passion for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her former husband Donald G. Perry Sr. and a

brother Robert Bleil.

She is survived by two daughters: Donna Munch of Cranesville and Becky Schick of Fairview; a son:

Donald G. Perry, Jr. and his wife Katanya of Millcreek; a brother Frank Bleil; three sisters: Marilyn Lackey

and her husband Larry of Erie; Carol Cosper and her husband Harry, of Fairview; and Elizabeth Balkovic

and her husband Steve of Green Valley, AZ; five grandchildren: Jason Munch and his wife Deanna; Ryan

Munch and his wife Kristen; Cassaundra Schick; Donald and Edward Perry; three great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street, Girard on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm and are invited to attend a funeral service on Thursday at 11 am, at Asbury United Methodist Church, 4703 West Ridge Rd., Erie with Rev Dan Owen officiating.
