Kathleen Genis

Kathleen L. “Kathy” Genis, age 65, of Erie, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021 at UPMC Hamot.

She was born in Erie on May 5, 1956, a daughter of the late James A. and Eunice M. Young Ketcham.

Kathy was a 1974 graduate of Iroquois High School. She worked as a Residential Manager for the Barber National Institute for more than 25 years.  Kathy loved music and the company of good friends.  She adored her dogs Lola, Weebles, Lucky and Jeremiah. 

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by a sister Sandra Ketcham Hoag of Utah and her best friend and companion, Charles J. Spilko of Erie.
