Katherine Myers

Katherine “Kat” Carter Myers, age 62, of Erie, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018.  She was born in Erie, PA on March 24, 1955, a daughter of the late Purvis and Ollie Mae Arrington Carter.

Katherine was a graduate of Academy High School and she worked in health care as a CNA. She enjoyed cooking, playing tennis, traveling and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her infant son, and her brother, Ervin L. Reid

Survivors include her brother, Reverend Dr. Burnell (Betty) Reid, of Syracuse, NY; two sisters, Doris A. Bailey, of Erie, PA and Pearl Carter, of Columbia, MD.  She is further survived by two Goddaughters and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends

Friends may call at Mount Ebal Baptist Church, 1617 East 26^th Street, Erie, PA on Wednesday, January 31st from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 p.m. with Pastor Cleveland Ulmer presiding.  Burial will follow in Winter Green Gorge Cemetery
