Karl Hagmaier

Karl Hagmaier, age 70, of Millcreek passed away Saturday April 26, 2014, at his residence following a lengthy illness.

Karl was born May 31, 1943 in Canonsburg PA son of the late Karl and Agnes Morgan Hagmaier. He attended Strong Vincent High School, Cathedral Prep and graduated from Tech Memorial High School. Karl was an auto mechanic and owned and operated J & K Automotive at 18th and Raspberry for over 30 years. He was a lifetime member of the Erie Skeet Club, was an avid hunter, enjoyed gardening and loved his dogs Bow and Emmy.

Karl is survived by his wife Lorine Blodgett Hagmaier; three daughter Theeann Swartz (Steve), Tammy Gates and Michele Swanson; a son Michael Hagmaier and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is further survived by two sisters Karolyn Weunski (David) and Nancy Singer (Bob) and a brother David Hagmaier (Roberta).

Services were private at the convenience of the family and entrusted to Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 West 26th Street Erie, Pa 16506.
