Karen Schuschu

     Karen Delores Stafford Schuschu, 57, of Erie, died Monday, January 27, 2014 at her residence.  She was born September 8, 1956 in Erie, daughter of the late Tommie and Mary Tarbell Stafford.  She attended the Barber National Institute and participated in the Special Olympics.  Karen was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and enjoyed crossword puzzles, Bingo, and talking to friends.
     Survivors include her husband of 32 years, John J. Schuschu; a son, William Adam Hughes; two sisters, Elaine Gray and Rosalie Cheesebrough; two brothers, Roger Stafford and Thomas Stafford and wife Linda; and numerous nieces and nephews, all of Erie.
     She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jon and Carl Stafford and a sister, Louise Stafford.
     Services are private at the convenience of the family.  Final resting place will be at Edinboro Cemetery.
