Karen L. Rosenthal age 83, of Erie passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at AHN St. Vincent.
She was born in Erie on November 27, 1941, a daughter of the late William and Evelyn Bender Smith.
Karens greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and attending all their sporting events. She enjoyed taking scenery photos and collecting antiques, porcelain dolls and rocks. Karen was an avid bingo player and loved her cats. One of her favorite things was the big family camp out in her backyard every September.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Bonnie.
She is survived by her husband of over 60 years, Richard Rosenthal; 3 children, Pam Mayer, Kris Levis and her husband Joe and Jeff Rosenthal and his wife Jane; 7 grandchildren, Amy, Becky, Jenny, Jonathan, Daniel, Ashley and Amber; several great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Services were held at the convenience of the family.
