Karen A. Frisbie Pardee age 72, of Erie, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her family and friends.
She was born in Erie on February 6, 1942 a daughter of the late Harrison and Norma Josephine Seelinger Frisbie.
She graduated from McDowell High School in 1960 and went on to work in Admissions at St. Vincent Health Center for 34 years.
Karen enjoyed playing cards (Rummy), bingo and cross-stitching. She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Charles Pardee Jr.
She is survived by a daughter, Kathleen “Kitty” Terry and her husband James of East Springfield; five sons, Robert Pardee and his wife Judy of Erie, Michael Pardee and his partner Christine Stibor of Fairview, Gregory Pardee and his wife Terry of Spring Green, WI, Charles Pardee of Erie and Gregory Pardee II and his wife Amanda of Erie; a brother, Robert Frisbie of NY; a special sister in law, Betty Jolly; six grandchildren, four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W. 26th Street (at Powell Ave) on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
