Karen Kraut

Karen L. (Grzywinski) Kraut, age 66, of Erie passed away at home on Monday, March 21, 2022. She was born October 25, 1955 in Erie the daughter of the late Walter and Esther Wolfe Grzywinski.

A lifelong resident of Erie, Karen had worked as a teller at National City and PNC Banks. She was later a longtime front desk attendant at the Nautilus Fitness Center.

Karen is survived by her husband Matt Kraut and she is the stepmother of Natasha Eck (Kevin) and Nadine Colwell (Chad), all of Erie. She is also survived by a sister, Joyce Grzywinski; a sister-in-law, Mary Kraut and brothers-in-law, Michael Kraut (Deborah) of Royal Oak, MI; Martin Kraut of Erie, and Maurice Kraut of Greenville, SC. Along with many friends, Karen is  survived by her beloved cat, Stormy.

Friends are invited to call at the Quinn Funeral Home, West 9^th & Liberty St. on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at which time Funeral Services will be held. Burial will be private.
