Karen Curry

Karen S. McKee Curry, age 59, of Erie, died on Monday January 8, 2018 at Walnut Creek Health Care.  She was born on September 20, 1958 in Erie, a daughter of the late Paul and Edith Abbate McKee.

She graduated from Academy High School in 1976.   She worked at Teletron and Hill’s Department Store until her disability.   Karen played darts in various leagues. She enjoyed reading religious books and the company of her dog Nikki but most of all she loved her family and spending time with her grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John J. Curry Jr.  Karen is survived by her son Rick (Lauren) Olson of Erie; five grandchildren Liam, Autumn, Oliver, Harper and Grayson Olson; siblings Mary McKee of Erie, Patricia Burger of Townville, PA and Gregory McKee of Erie, several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.   

Friends are invited to call on the family on Thursday Jan. 11^th from 1-3pm and 5pm until the time of the service at 7pm at Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, 602 W. 10^th St.
