Karen Crawford

Karen Denise Crawford, age 69, of Girard, passed away Wednesday, January 16^th 2019, surrounded by family.

She was born January 9^th 1950, In Butler PA. Karen graduated from Freeport High School, class of 1967. After graduating, she married Dennis Alan Crawford, and started a family. Karen was a very active member of Waterford Presbyterian Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years, starting a fundraising program to help fund attendance to a youth church camp. She was an avid cook, excellent baker, and will be missed by all who knew her.

Karen is preceded in death by her lifelong best friend, Karen Artman.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis, her four children, Alan Crawford Jr., Cyndi Crawford, Tom Crawford, and Patrick Crawford. Karen is further survived by eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, several siblings, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 20, 2019 at 3 P.M. at Waterford Presbyterian Church.
