Karen Botwright, age 66, of Millcreek, passed away Friday, December 17, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Erie on May 19, 1955, a daughter of Norbert and Norma (McCollum) Kuhl.
Karen graduated from McDowell High School in 1973. She had worked at Barber Center International, Card and Party Outlet, Special Kids Network and retired from MECA.
She loved vacationing in Florida; enjoyed watching cooking and baking shows, and the Hallmark Holiday specials. Spending time with her grandchildren was her life as well as her dogs. Karen also liked to bird watch.
Karen was preceded in death by her mother in law, Phyllis Botwright.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Timothy Botwright, a daughter, Elizabeth Marie Botwright Noonan and her husband, Jamie of Erie; and three grandchildren, Lily, Rory and Ryan Noonan. She is further survived by a sister, Susan Johnson and her husband Mark of Corry, brothers, John and Matthew Kuhl, both of Erie; her father in law, John C. Botwright of Millcreek; as well as several nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her fur babies, Bear, Pear and Baxter.
Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott at West Ridge, 3801 W. 26th St. (at Powell Ave.) on Monday from 3-8 pm and are invited to a service there on Tuesday at 10:30 am.
