June Perry Flick

June Perry Flick age 91, of Erie passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Pleasant Ridge Manor.

She was born in Newark, NJ, on June 6, 1930 a daughter of the late Paul K. and Julia F. Fleischer Owen.

June was a graduate of Arts High School in Newark, NJ and attended Temple University in Philadelphia PA.   She was active with Erie Youth Hockey (1969 -1974) finding accommodations for visiting youth teams and as a liaison for the Erie Lions Men’s Hockey Team (1972 -1974). She also worked for several years with the blind golfers. June enjoyed artistic projects and created original Christmas ornaments for family and friends for nearly twenty years. She also decorated a Christmas tree in her home for all occasions from 1969 until she passed.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Dr. Moody G. Perry, second husband Bruce H. Flick and sister Marjorie Hauser of Pompano Beach, FL.  She is survived by a daughter Eleanor J. Perry and husband William Batson of Erie, PA; a son Reverend David L. Perry and wife Kim of Washington, PA; Cheryl Johnson of Erie, PA: Edward Flick of Erie, PA and Patrick Flick and wife Pam of Fort Wayne, IN.   She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of Pleasant Ridge Manor for the excellent care June was given.

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services at West Ridge, 3801 West 26^th St. on Tuesday, March 29^th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.  Funeral and Burial will be private and at the convenience of the Family.
