June Jackna

June E. Jackna age 94, died September 24, 2018 at LECOM Senior Living Center.

She was born in Erie, PA on June 22, 1924, a daughter of the late Hugh and Mary McQuay Harrison.

She was a member of the First Church of God on Pine Avenue.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander S. Jackna in 2004, a son, Alex "A.J.",  her daughter, Catherine Wheeler and her husband, David Wheeler Sr. all in 2017. Additionally, she was preceded in death by her grandsons, Brian Jackna and Robert “Bobby” Jackna, Jr.

June is survived by a son, Robert Jackna, Sr. and wife, Shirley of Largo, FL.. Six grandchildren, as well as several great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren further survive.

Friends are invited to call on the family at Burton Wintergreen Funeral Home, 2532 Norcross Road, Erie, PA 16510 on Monday, October 1^st from 6:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. in their All Faith’s Chapel.  Burial will be private at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
