June Dover

June S. Dover age 97, of Erie, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at her residence.

She was born in Erie on May 3, 1923 a daughter of the late Stanley W. and Harriet Estella Johnson Sullivan.

June graduated from Academy High School and The Julliard School in New York City and studied music.

She worked at WICU TV where she had her own tv show and also for the Millcreek School District.

She was a very active member of Wayside Presbyterian Church participating in many activities and was a Sunday school teacher.

June was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She enjoyed reading, singing, swimming, playing bridge, shopping and especially loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. John Dover; a daughter, Debbie Dover Hiller and a grandson, John Hiller.

She is survived by a daughter, Denise Dover Pollifrone and her husband Robert; and five grandchildren, Jody Hiller Kost (Byron), Andrew Hiller, Jill Hiller Odems (Michael), Carrie Pollifrone Fischer (Bob) and Sydne Pollifrone Wehrer (Mike); six great grandchildren, Nora and Frannie Kost, Madison and Riley Fischer and Carter and Lincoln Hiller; son-in-law, Scott Hiller; and close friends and family, Jean Fabian, Bob Nyhuis, Dr. Russell Raymond and Karen.

Services were held private at the convenience of the family by the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, 3801 W. 26^th Street, Erie, PA 16506.
