June M. Brandt, age 93, of Erie, passed away at St. Mary’s East on Wednesday, December 23, 2020.
She was born in Erie, on April 7, 1927, a daughter of the late Arthur Boyer and Doris Boyer Dowler.
June graduated from Strong Vincent High School in 1945 and worked soon after at Erie Resistor Corporation before working for many years and retiring from GTE where she was a dispatcher.
June was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church for more than six decades along with her husband Bob and was always a part of the church choir. She was also a past member of the Ladies Auxilary of the Siebenberger Club.
She had many interests and hobbies including being at the beach, gardening, ceramics, dancing, teddy bears, the Miami Dolphins, and she loved walking her dog Dodie. More than anything she loved and adored her family from her husband Bob of 69 years to all her great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she is preceded by her loving husband Bob who died October 16, 2019 and her grandson Harlan Jones Jr.
She is survived by three children, Randy P. (Darlene) Brandt of Erie, Denise M. (Mark) Clinger of Fairview and Pamela A. (Harlan) Jones of Moseley VA; eight grandchildren, Jerry Brandt, Rhett Brandt, Christian Titus, Roxanne Ahlbrandt, Bret Kelly, Brandon Kelly, Trevor Jones and Taylor Kosco and 14 great grandchildren. She is further survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge, 3801 W. 26th St. (at Powell Avenue) Erie, PA 16506.
The private funeral service will be livestreamed at https://facebook.com/BurtonFuneralHomesAndCrematoryInc on Wednesday December 30th, at 12 noon; followed by burial at Erie Cemetery.
