In loving memory of her beautiful, caring and free spirit, we mourn the unexpected passing of Julie Anne Elmer of Erie, PA on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.
She was born on August 14, 1973, the youngest daughter of John B. Elmer and Jacqueline Davis Elmer. Julie graduated from McDowell High School in 1991. Julie especially loved her pets. She was active in agility training with her dog Libby. Because of Julie her African Grey parrot Rio had a colorful vocabulary and was smarter than a fifth grader. She also enjoyed volunteering at Because You Care where many of her loving companions came from.
Julie also enjoyed many years of traveling the Great Lake Water Ways on her parents boat the All J’s with family and friends. Julie enjoyed hours of fun on the Seadoo and snowmobiling.
Julie will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her spirit of giving and compassion for animals will live on through them. All that knew and loved her will be forever grateful to have met this amazing person
