With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our sweet Julian Gabriel “Juju” Roberts, who left us too soon on September 6th, 2024, at just 4 years old. Juju was born on July 15th, 2020, and in his short time with us, he brought so much joy, love, and laughter to everyone he met.
Juju was a little ball of energy and happiness. He loved dancing, playing football, and was completely obsessed with monster trucks. His curiosity and big smile brightened every room, and he had a special way of making people laugh. He was a smart, funny, loving, and happy kid who made every day better just by being himself.
Juju went to pre-school at St. James School, where he made plenty of friends and had a blast learning new things. He was always up for an adventure, and his endless curiosity kept his family on their toes in the best way.
He leaves behind his loving parents, Kateri A. Mickel and Jeremy E. Roberts, and his siblings, Justin D. Tate, Amareon D. Roberts and Amaria J. Roberts. Juju was deeply adored by his grandparents: Julie A. Barry, Monica R. Mims, Janet L. Roberts, Boubacar S. Barry, Cecil R. Roberts and Maurice C. DeBoe. His big family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends will miss him dearly.
Though Juju’s time with us was far too short, his memory will always live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He brought so much love, laughter, and joy to the world, and we’ll carry his light with us forever.
On Saturday, September 14th, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at the St. Martin Center, 1701 Parade St., Erie, PA 16503, we will gather to honor Juju in the way he lived—full of fun, laughter, and love.
