Judith Welsh

     Judith M. Stanley Welsh, 71, died on Sunday, February 11, 2018, at her home in Erie.  She was born on March 22, 1946, in Erie, daughter of the late George and Marie G. Parson Stanley.  She was a 1964 graduate of Tech Memorial High School where she studied cosmetology.  Judy was in retail sales for thirty years working for Bonton, Elder-Beerman and Halle's Department Stores, retiring in 2008.  She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and a former member of the Woman's Club of Erie.  Judy was an original member of the 1964 Tech Memorial Class Reunion Committee which continues to meet and plan the class reunions.
     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jessica O'Connor.
     Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Gordon P. Welsh; a daughter, Lisa Ann O'Connor and husband Gregory of Angola, NY; two sons, Patrick S. Welsh of Austin, TX and Kevin McGregor and wife Holly of Erie; six grandchildren, Allysyn and Kurran O'Connor of Angola, NY, Kristy Warren and husband Daniel of Buffalo, NY and Kathryn, Mathew and Justin McGregor of Erie; and her dear friends, Carol Chandler of Seattle, Washington and Theresa Kierzek of Erie.
     Friends may call Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Scott Funeral Home, 2104 Myrtle Street, and are invited to attend a service there Thursday at 11 a.m.  The Rev.
