Judith Goodwin

Judith (Judi) Anne Goodwin (Nee Snyder) 92 of Erie PA. passed away November 21, 2022 in Madison, Ohio.

She was born in Greensburg, PA. on May 8th, 1930 to Anna (McKay) Snyder and Harry E. Snyder.

She attended Latrobe High School. Judi worked for both Travelers Insurance and Erie Insurance becoming an insurance underwriter. She retired from Erie Insurance in 1996.

Judi married Paul Goodwin in August of 1973. She and Paul were lovingly and happily married for 33 years, enjoying playing golf together, and with friends and dinners at the Erie Maennerchor Club.

Judi is survived by her son Frederick (Roberta) Johnston, brother Robert (Joanne Snyder), son-in-law Gregory Ferrero, niece Cindy (Thomas) Pallotta, step-daughters Patricia (Stewart) Gregory, Karen Thomas, step-son Gary (Marcy) Goodwin, four grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, two great grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren.

Judi is preceded in death by her parents, infant brother Richard, sister Norma and brother-in-law James Byers, daughter Pamala Ferrero, husband Paul Goodwin and ex-husband Frederick Johnston Sr.

Judi was loved and will be greatly missed by her family, friends and neighbors.

Friends are invited to call on the family Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Service Inc. Downtown, 602 W. 10^th Street, Erie. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery at a later date. The family asks that everyone in attendance to please wear a face mask.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made, in her name, to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, the Alzheimer’s Association of Northwestern PA, 110 West 10th Street, Erie, PA 16501, or to Hospice of the Western Reserve 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, Ohio, 44110.
