Judith Fawcett

Judith Ann Fails Fawcett, age 64, of Girard, died on Sunday December 29, 2013.

She was born in Conneaut, Ohio on April 19, 1949, the daughter of the late Ralph and Elizabeth Mitrision Fails.

Prior to her retirement Judy had been a Senior Data Processor at the Carlisle Company.

She was a member of St. Cyrial Catholic Church of Girard and the Federated Church in E. Springfield. Judy loved crafts, her flower beds and entertaining family and friends. She was lovingly referred to as “Jude Bob”.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Tabitha Fawcett and a sister Brenda Fails.

She is survived by a daughter, Tina Shreve and her husband Mark of Richmond, VA; one brother William Fails and his wife Francine of Platea; three sisters Patricia Schatz and her husband John of W. Springfield, Theresa Czarnecki and her husband Joe of W. Springfield and Becky Westgate and her husband Barry of Edinboro; two granddaughters Aubree Shreve, Abigail Shreve; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to a funeral service on Thursday January 2, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Burton Funeral Home 525 Main St. East, Girard with Reverend Ed Huntley officiating. Burial will be in Springfield Cemetery. A celebration of life reception will follow at the Federated Church 11995 Main St, East Springfield.
