Judith Casler

Judith L. (Hartman) Casler, age 83, of Erie, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Saint Vincent Hospital. She was born April 19, 1939, daughter to the late Robert D. and Winifred L Sonnenberg Hartman.

Judith graduated McDowell High School in 1957. She worked at General Telephone, Copes Vulcan, Fenestra, and Spectrum Control before retiring in 2002. She volunteered for Shriners Hospital, Loaves & Fishes, the Barber Center, and Stairways. Judith was also an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Tom Hartman, a brother in law, Tom Durfee, and a beloved great grandson.

Judith is survived by her children, Craig V. Casler, Robin E. Bush, and Brian L. Casler, her sister, Carol Durfee, and a sister in law, Sherry Hartman. She is further survived by her cousins, nieces, nephews, seven grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Manchester Commons for their excellent care.

Friends are invited to a funeral service, Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1002 Powell Ave. at 12:00 Noon, burial will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1002 Powel Ave., Erie, PA 16505.
