Judith Buziewicz

Judith “Judi” Kay Lamison Buziewicz, age 51, of Girard, passed away Saturday February 11, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Erie, on August 2, 1965, a daughter of the late Charles A. and Jean Marks Lamison.

Judi graduated from Girard High School in 1983. She attended J.H Thompson Academy for barbering and cosmetology. Judi had worked at the Barber National Institute in Human Resources. She and her husband were co-owners of Bay City Computer Services for many years.

She loved gardening, scrapbooking and especially spending time with her family. Judi was a member of the Girard American Legion Post 494 Auxiliary and the Girard Legion Ladies Ho-Shoes. She was the auditor for Girard Township for over 6 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her fathers in law, Peter Buziewicz Sr. and Ron Berarducci; and a brother in law, Rick Buziewicz.

Judi is survived by her husband of 23 ½ years, Peter P. Buziewicz, two daughters, Paige and Kaylee of Girard; five sisters, Patti Kreider and Joni Struchen and her husband Keith, all of Erie; Susan Eaton and her husband, Bob, Debbie Metzler and her husband, Mark and Lindy Platz and her husband, Bob, all of Girard; her mother in law, Toni Perkins of Erie; brothers in law, Brian Buziewicz and his wife Coleen, Ron Perkins and his wife, Michelle, all of Erie, and Michael Buziewicz and his wife Emily of Columbus, OH; and a sister in law, Ann Burford and her husband Chris of Shreveport, LA. She is further survived by 19 nieces and nephews and 12 great nieces and nephews as well as many cousins.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East in Girard on Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9 and on Thursday from 10 am until the time of the service at 11 am.

Burial will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
