Juanita Puckey

Juanita J. McGuire Puckey, age 86, of Erie passed away Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Twinbrook Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in McKeesport, PA, June 25, 1936, the daughter of the late Paul J. and Betty McGuire.

Juanita enjoyed her puzzle books, spending time with family, especially dinners, and she loved all animals.

She is survived by her children, Terry Puckey (Cindy), Linda Ayana (Robert), Diane Maas (Peter), and Ann Marie Kaspick. She is survived by her brother, Robert McGuire (Maureen). She is further survived by her grandchildren, Katelin McLaughlin, Kylie Kaspick, Callum Kaspick, Briana Anaya, Michael Anaya (Dana), Martin Maas, Matthew Maas, and Abby Maas. She is survived by a great grandson, Robbie Anaya.  

In addition to her parents, Juanita is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene J. Puckey, and her brother, William McGuire (Betty).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The ANNA Shelter, 1555 E 10th St, Erie, PA 16511, or to the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center 2500 West 12^th Street, Erie, PA 16505.

Friends are invited to call on the family Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Service Inc. West Ridge, 3801 West 26^th Street, Erie. Friends are invited to a Funeral Mass Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Julia Roman Catholic Church, 638 Roslyn Ave, Erie. Burial will follow in Erie County Memorial Gardens.
