Juanita Cantlon

Juanita M. Cantlon, age 92, of Erie, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2017 at Sarah A. Reed Retirement Center.

She was born in Three Rivers, MI, on October 25, 1924 daughter of the late Clifford and Leona Frank Hamilton.

Juanita attended East High School.

She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church and the East Erie Turners’ Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Cantlon in 1997; a son, James C. Cantlon in 1973; and two brothers, Robert F. Hamilton and William Hamilton. Juanita  is survived by two daughters, Patricia Turi and her husband Thomas of Erie, Kathleen Cantlon of Erie; three grandchildren, Shelly Kimnach and her husband Chris of Laurel, MD, Tom Turi of Bethesda, MD and Matthew Turi of Erie; three great-grandchildren, Frankie Kimnach of Claire, MD, and Jack Kimnach of Claire, MD.  She is further survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Church 130 E. 4th, Erie, PA 16507.                                                                                 Private burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
