Juan Orlando Barrios, age 63, of Wattsburg, PA, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Saint Vincent Hospital. He was born in Morovis, PR January 16, 1961, to the late Juan R. and Gloria Santiago Barrios. Juan served in the 82nd Airborne of the United States Army, on active duty until 1982. He worked as a clerk with the United States Postal Service for many years after retiring from the Army.
Juan loved working out and staying in shape, he was a black belt in TaeKwonDo. He was a family man, and a lifelong learner, picking up new skills and languages his whole life.
Juan is survived by his wife, Natalie (Macrino) Barrios, and his four children, Shannon Diemer, Bobbie Langer-Williamson, Joseph Barrios, and Juan X Barrios (Prianka). He is further survived by his grandchildren, Madison, Anthony, Gary, A.J., Sophia, Isabella, Alexander, Payton, Calvary, Cecilia, Jade, Landon, Avery, and one great grandchild, Mylah. Juan is survived by many siblings, including Madeline (Luis), Luis, Tito, Carmen, Sammy (Wanda), Eldwin, and his stepmother, Edith Vera.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Juan Hector Barrios.
Friends are invited to call on the family Monday, December 9, 2024 from 3 - 7 p.m. at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Service Inc. Wintergreen, 2532 Norcross Road, Erie. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, December 10 at 9:45 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Church, 2635 Buffalo Road, Erie.
