Joyce Beers Ford Allen

Joyce Marie Beers Ford Allen, age 70, of Erie, passed away Saturday June 8, 2013 at Manchester

Commons. Joyce was born in Erie on June 20, 1942. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and

Amelia Heart Spinelli Beers. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. She belonged to the St.

Patrick’s Ave Maria Society. She was an avid bird lover which brought her to the Erie Cage Bird

Club for 13 years where she was a hostess. Joyce also enjoyed volunteering at the Bay City

Athletic Association. In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her first husband;

her second husband; two brothers, Daniel George and Robert Spinelli; a sister, Arlene Helman.

She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and everyone that knew her. She is survived by

her daughter, Jacqueline Ford Caputo; two sons, Eric and Noel Ford; two sisters, her twin, Judy

Galvin (Jim) and Barb McGill; one brother, Joseph Spinelli; four grandchildren, Anthony and

Marleena Ford, Emmanuel and Michael Caputo; four great grandchildren, Shaunalize, Anthony,

Aiden and Camden. She is further survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Church 913 Fulton Saturday at

Noon with the Reverend James O’Hara celebrant. Burial will be private.
